So wie im neuen Stück von Chromatics und ihrem neuen Song "Looking For Love". Dort hat die amerikanische Band nicht nur, auf die persönliche Einladung von Karl Lagerfeld, Chanels Show für Frühjahr/Sommer 2013 bei der Pariser Fashion Week untermalt, sondern schaffte es ebenfalls ihre dortige Performance in eine umwerfende kleine Dokumentation zu verwandeln. Das, wie immer, unglaublich dekorierte Grand Palais, Runway Proben, das Backstagegeschehen sowie die wunderschöne Show selbst fing Alberto Rossini, Videograf des Labels, in einem schönen Video mit ganz viel Vintage Feeling ein. All das passenderweise mit dynamischen, doch auch nostalgischen Synthipop-Tönen. Sehr sehenswert oder was sagt ihr?

Music and fashion often go together, be it as inspiration to create new works or as a supporting element to emphasise the result, like in music videos for example. As in the new Chromatics' piece for their current song "Looking For Love", where the American band was not only invited by Karl Lagerfeld himself to accompany Chanel's show during the spring/summer 2013 edition of Paris Fashion Week, but also managed to transform their performance into a stunning short documentation. The as usually amazingly decorated Grand Palais, catwalk rehearsals, backstage madness and the beautiful show itself captured in a retro-fied video by Alberto Rossini, the label's videographer. All this amongst dynamic yet nostalgic synthi-pop tunes. Well worth seeing or what do you think?
